Teaching Preschoolers:
First Steps Toward Faith

This class is designed for those interested in teaching preschoolers, new and experienced teachers. We will be exploring a variety of topics including: teaching preschoolers the Bible, understanding the preschoolers we teach, guiding behavior, conducting small group and large group time, creative teaching ideas and partnering with parents in building spiritual foundations in preschoolers.

James: Mercy Triumphs
WOMEN ONLY

Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos.  In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any New Testament book.  James is a book with many topics such as joy,    hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer—all of which are covered in this study.

We will focus on a number of topics regarding    teaching children in grades 1-5 for spiritual          transformation.  This class is for potential, new, and experienced teachers.  We will cover a number of subjects including: why we teach children, how     children learn, guiding behavior, large group time, using Bible learning activities in small group time, and how to lead a child to Christ.
