Are you wanting to find a place to get plugged into? Porter offers many ministries that will equip you to grow spiritually. Maybe you have a special talent that you would like to share. The opportunities for service, fellowship and growth can be found in Porter's vast outreach. Our ministries are designed to reach the surrounding communities according to God's plan not our own agenda. Come, take part in what God is doing here and help us share with others.

Life Bible Study

Sundays @ 9:15 A.M. In Life Bible Study you will study the Word of God and grow in knowledge. Classes are designed to meet your present situation or status, and you will grow along with others that share in your stage of life. Spiritual Growth

Life Discipleship

Life Discipleship classes are offered on Sunday nights @ 4:45 & 5:00 P.M., with a few selected ones on Wednesday (9:00 AM). These classes dive deeper into God's Word and start, or continue the molding into being more like Christ. If you are wanting a more passionate walk, see what God has prepared for you. Life Support

For those who need to know they are not alone. These support groups will be offered throughout the week. Each groups will be led a by a facilitator or facilitators and will offer helpful information and support from a Biblical perspective. For a closer look at what is offered go to Life Support.

Children's Ministry

Porter offers a truly rewarding children's ministry for your child. Starting with preschool through fifth grade there are numerous opportunities for your children to be taught scripture and have fellowship with others their age. On Wednesdays, your child can participate in the awesome AWANA program. You don't want to leave this program out of their learning experience. Children's Link

Youth Ministry

What can be said about the Youth Program? Check out their site and see what's happening. During this period of a child's life many struggle with who they are or what they believe. Don't hesitate, put them where they'll be fed and encouraged. Our exceptional youth staff will encourage and help your youth discover their value. College Ministry

IMPACT Ministry

IMPACT is an exciting ministry that began at Porter Memorial Baptist Church in 2000. Our heart's desire in our church body is to reach the world for Christ. Our focus and mission is to fulfill the "Great Commission" (Matthew 28:19-20) in our Jerusalem (Lexington), Judea (Kentucky), Samaria (USA), and the utter most parts of the world. We are thrilled with what we have seen God do in our church these last 6 years, we just reached our 10,000 mark in visit attempts. IMPACT Ministry Link

MOPS (Moms of Pre-Schoolers)

MOPS International, Mothers of Preschoolers, is a non-denominational Christian organization which exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. MOPS Link

Preschool - Kindergarten Ministry

Two, three and five day Christian based programs for preschoolers and kindergarten students. Porter offers a multitude of ways for your child to "Grow in Wisdom"," Grow in Stature", and "Grow in Favor with God and Others." Additional Information

Mother's Day Out Ministry

The objective of this ministry titled "His Kids", is to provide a positive atmosphere where children can develop mentally, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually through well organized activities. Learning experiences, appropriate for the developmental age of each group, are provided each day. Mother's Day Out Link

Prayer Ministry
