UPWARD INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

FOR WEEKLY PRACTICES: We will no longer automatically cancel practices when Fayette County schools are closed because of inclement winter weather. You may check the Porter Memorial Baptist Church website to see if practices are cancelled or going on as scheduled.  Since we now have emails for almost all Upward families, we will notify by email the status of practices when there is any question regarding weather.  Only cancellations will be aired on the following stations.

• WLEX-TV – Channel 18
• WKYT-TV – Channel 27
• WTVQ-TV – Channel 36

FOR GAME DAYS: You may check the Porter Memorial Baptist website regarding the status of games in the event of inclement winter weather.  We will also send an email to Upward families regarding the status of games.  Cancellations or a delay in starting the games will be aired on the local TV stations listed above.
