Pure Religion Sunday
This Sunday aims to inspire and equip God’s people to live the “pure religion” described in James 1:27; to advocate for the orphaned and vulnerable. We invite people to partner with us as we care for orphans worldwide and to stand for children and families in the U.S. Foster Care system.
Time & Location
Nov 08, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM
Porter, 4300 Nicholasville Rd, Lexington, KY 40515, USA
Additional Information
Join us as Porter celebrates God’s heart and advocates for orphaned and vulnerable children on November 8. Pure Religion (formerly Orphan Sunday & Stand Sunday) is one way we, as a church, can bring awareness for the care for orphans worldwide and to stand for children and families in the U.S. Foster Care system. Local adoption and foster agencies will be available Sunday morning for those seeking more information on fostering and adoption.
