Porter's Food Outreach provides food to our neighbors in Lexington and surrounding areas. Not only do we feed people physically, but we, more importantly, engage with them, pray with them, and connect them with the local church to feed them spiritually.

​

Partnering with Samaritan's Purse, Porter is a central collection site for OCC, which provides toys and supplies and gospel opportunities for children internationally during the Christmas season.

​

​

Porter provides deaf interpreters for life group classes at 9:45am and at our 11:00am worship service so our deaf community can be active participants.

​

​

​

 

This ministry is designed to encourage, equip and develop young women into the mothers that God created them to be. Moms enjoy a couple hours with each other monthly by connecting through spiritual enrichment activities while their children enjoy learning and playing in their classes. Wednesday Night Discipleship

We have many amazing opportunities to connect, to grow, and to serve on Wednesday nights. It is our desire to grow as a hub for discipleship, community, and ministry. As a result, we will be offering more and varied teaching/discipleship opportunities and unifying all of our activities under Porter Connect. To learn more about what we offer, click below.

 

There are several opportunities to dive deeper into the Word of God through our extensive database of reading plans, that range from 14 days to 1 year. Each can be customized and started on any day. Find out more here.

This ministry seeks to support widows and widowers in our Porter church family and community. We offer prayer, biblical encouragement, and fellowship throughout the year.

With access to thousands of Bible study videos, from 150 leading Christian publishers and ministries, you will find valuable tools for your small groups, personal development, and areas of life. Our worship choir is open to those in high school and above and provides worship-enchancing music to glorify God and lead others in worship. The choir leads primarily on Sunday mornings and in seasonal presentations.

This ministry provides an opportunity for women to connect across all stages of life in discipleship and friendship. Activities range from bible studies, seasonal activities, retreats and large-group conferences.

​

Porter serves and ministers to people from over 50 countries who now live in our community. Students meet once a week on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30am or Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. 

​

ESL will begin this fall on Monday, September 9, 2024 and run through Monday, May 12, 2025. Wednesday classes will begin Wednesday, September 11, 2024 and end Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
