Porter desires to partner with families in the discipleship of their children through teaching God's Word and growing gospel-shaped community and relationships.

Preschoolers and children experience small-group Bible study with consistent teachers and kids their own age. We use LifeWay's Gospel Project curriculum.

Our co-ed archery program is for 4th-8th graders. Both fall and spring seasons are offered.
Upward Basketball & Cheerleading
Basketball and Cheerleading are for girls and boys Kindergarten- 8th grade (Cheer K-5th grade). Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of the game and present Christ through recreation.
Each summer, we will have a week-long Vacation Bible School. Kids 4 yrs. old through 5th grade are invited to learn about God in a fun, interactive environment. Each day, teachers engage kids in Bible study, games and worship. The week culminates with a musical presentation and carnival for the whole family.
VBS 2024 Breaker Rock Beach

Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!

Kid Trek is a kids worship service that offers worship, biblical teaching, and prayer--all at a kid's level! In Kid Trek, we mirror the Bible content taught in the main service to encourage conversations between kids and their families.
Kid Trek meets every Sunday except for the first Sunday of each month. On Family First Sunday, all kids attend the main worship service with their families.
Kid Trek is for lower-elementary (1st - 3rd grade) only.
Crossings Kids Camp is an overnight camp for 2nd graders (completed) – 5th graders to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ!
Camp is Tuesday, July 23 - Friday, July 26, and is open to completed 2nd - completed 5th graders. The cost is $340. Spots are full. To join the waitlist please email our Children's Director, Lindsay Tucker.
Wednesday @ 6:15pm
AWANA is a biblically-centered kids club. Children ages 3 years through 5th grade are engaged through lessons from the Bible, scripture memory, and interactive games. Missions and discipleship are the primary focus of the clubs.
Fall 2023 Awana Clubs start Wednesday, August 23 at 6:15pm.

ITTY BITTY CHOIR
Porter Kids and Music Ministry welcome back our Itty Bitty Kids Choir! Kids, ages 4-5 (must be 4 by 8/1), are invited each week for singing and activities including music, arts & crafts, painting and worship.
KIDS CHOIR
Choir is offered for children 1st - 5th grade during the school year. The choir learns about worship and prepares special presentations for the Christmas season and in the spring.
