Porter's Food Outreach provides food to our neighbors in Lexington and surrounding areas. Not only do we feed people physically, but we, more importantly, engage with them, pray with them, and connect them with the local church to feed them spiritually.

​

Singing Saints is made up of Senior Adults who love to sing for Jesus. This choir meets on Saturday from 9:15 -11am in the Choir Room September - May annually. No audition required!

​

Singing Saints does not meet in June, July and August.

 

Porter provides deaf interpreters for life group classes at 10:10am and at our 11:15am worship service so our deaf community can be active participants.

Porter serves and ministers to people from over 50 countries who now live in our community. Students meet once a week on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30am or Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. 

​​

Izumi ("wellspring") is a mission church that has been part of Porter since 2023. Pastor John Livingston and his wife, Yoriko, are members at Porter. In addition to pastoring, John serves with international student ministries on UK's campus. 

 

Izumi's church service is on Sunday mornings at 11:15am in the youth area. The worship service is conducted bi-lingually in Japanese and English. An interpreter is always present for the message and most other parts of the service.​​

Our ministry reaches senior adults in the Lexington area, to enhance their lives, to encourage them to continue to grow in the Lord and to challenge them to serve the Lord with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength. Each month we meet and fellowship.

This ministry provides an opportunity for women to connect across all stages of life in discipleship and friendship. Activities range from bible studies, seasonal activities, retreats and large-group conferences.​

This ministry seeks to support widows and widowers in our Porter church family and community. We offer prayer, biblical encouragement, and fellowship throughout the year.

​

​

 

This ministry is designed to encourage, equip and develop young women into the mothers that God created them to be. Moms enjoy a couple hours with each other monthly by connecting through spiritual enrichment activities while their children enjoy learning and playing in their classes. Our worship choir is open to those in high school and above and provides worship-enchancing music to glorify God and lead others in worship. The choir leads primarily on Sunday mornings and in seasonal presentations.
