MISSION
Porter Missions seeks to locally and globally be the hands and feet of Jesus.
At Porter, we are committed to missions. He sent His Son to save us and has given us a similar mission to spread the message of His Gospel.
Missions doesn't just involve one place. Acts 1:8 says "you shall be My witness both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." In that same manner, Porter seeks to do missions everywhere. God has called us to be Great Commission Christians wherever we go. We're glad to have a variety of partnerships that help us fulfill God’s call for us to join Him in His mission.

LOCAL/NATIONAL MISSIONS
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
We believe that we are all called to serve and be witnesses to our community. We do this through ministries like our Food Outreach program and ESL program. To learn more about these programs, please see below.
ESL Program
Porter serves and ministers to people from over 50 countries who now live in our community. Students meet once a week on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30am or Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm.
Food Outreach
Porter's Food Outreach provides food to our neighbors in Lexington and surrounding areas. Not only do we feed people physically, but we, more importantly, engage with them, pray with them, and connect them with the local church to feed them spiritually.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Throughout the year, Porter provides opportunities for members to serve on mission trips across the globe where we come alongside IMB and NAMB missionaries in the field, along with our partner churches. Mission trips range from serving local and regional church plants to Brazil, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Please see the calendar for information about our upcoming trips. Operation Christmas Child
Partnering with Samaritan's Purse, Porter provides toys and supplies and gospel opportunities for children internationally during the Christmas season.
